Rebel Era
Rogue One
The U Wing from Rogue One. Initially I did not liked the design, but the more I looked at it, the more I liked it!
The “new” Tie Stryker - I just love the design!
Star Wars Rebels
Phantom II and Sabine’s Tie
There is no starfighter more closely associated with the Galactic Empire than the TIE fighter. Designed by Sienar Fleet Systems, the TIE fighter was cheap, mass-produced, and ubiquitous —a quick and agile dogfighter deployed most often in overwhelming numbers. Squadrons of TIEs would serve as reminders of Imperial might. Even solitary TIEs could spread fear among those who heard the distinctive roar of their twin ion engines racing overhead.
Accordingly, there's no small measure of irony in the fact that the Rebellion will soon get to field its own TIE fighter in battle. But this TIE fighter doesn't represent Imperial might. It was stolen and modified. It was painted bright orange and yellow. It represents individuality and defiance. The stolen TIE fighter's locator beacon might have been dismantled a bit later than it should have been, but it was eventually dismantled. Then Sabine repainted the TIE, working her masterpiece in bright shades of orange and yellow between the black and grey of its wings and their solar collectors. Those, however, were not all the changes the Rebels made. They modified the ship enough that they were able to squeeze a couple of passengers into the cockpit, alongside the pilot, and then—in a dramatic turn of events—outfitted it with enough illicit EMP devices to temporarily shut down nearly all of a Star Destroyer's systems from inside its docking bay.
The Phantom II was a modified Sheathipede-class transport shuttle belonging to the Spectres. It replaced the original Phantom, which was lost during the mission to Reklam Station. The Spectres acquired the Phantom II during a mission to the planet Agamar, where they encountered a Separatist holdout. After an initial conflict, wherein the leader of the holdout, the droid general Kalani, made the rebels participate in a war game, the two sides teamed up to escape from arriving Imperial forces. The Spectres kept the shuttle, modifying it by cutting down the dorsal fin, adding weapons and an astromech socket, and repainting it. They used it on several missions, including to Concord Dawn and Krownest.
The Phantom II was a Sheathipede-class shuttle in the Separatist military. The shuttle was also capable of traveling through hyperspace. After the Spectres rebel cell acquired the ship, they gave it a new paint job and upgraded it to include hull reinforcements, port and starboard forward cannons, ventral-mounted turrets, and an astromech socket located on the port side of the shuttle. The Phantom II was also modified to dock with the VCX-100 light freighter Ghost and served as the mother ship's shuttle.
The Inquisitors TIE Advanced from “SW - Rebels”, again an after market Shapeway model by Mel’s Minis, highly recommended!
