The Walking Dead is an ongoing black-and-white comic book series created by writer Robert Kirkman and artist Tony Moore.

It focuses on Rick Grimes, a deputy who is shot in the line of duty and awakens from a coma in the zombie apocalypse that placed Georgia under quarantine.

He finds his wife and son, and meets other survivors, gradually taking on the role of leader among a group and later a community.

I am reading the comics and following the TV series more or less since the beginning. I really liked the comics and the TV series. Which means a lot since I normally dislike Zombies and stories around them. 

But TWD is so much more, it is more about peoples reactions under extreme circumstances than the usual horror trash.

Consequently I was very exited when Mantic games acquired the license for a miniatures game. I pledge in their KS and recently the reward arrived. A good solid product and an improvement about earlier Mantic products like Deathzone or Mars Attack.

The miniatures are true to the comic look, in a way they are a bit old fashioned, they have the old GW look, big heads, hands and feet. But they work, they really look cool on the tabletop!
